Our Story

As a child, (Expert Wire's founder) David Naples' home was destroyed by an electrical fire. He was five years old at the time, however the loss had a lasting impact on him. Nearly one score later, Expert Wire was formed from scratch with the ambition to neutralize electrical hazards on Delmarva. Our passion at Expert Wire, for providing sought-after electrical safety, sparked from that event. Expert Wire was founded in 2003 by David and Andrea.

As a family owned company, we love to provide great service with the goal to leave you truly happy with the experience. Our five star expert technicians and customer service representatives are continually trained on the latest services, technologies and best practices to maintain the highest standard of excellence.

While we're in your home, we will use drop cloths and shoe covers to protect your home. If we damage something we will accept responsibility and quickly make it right.

Our electricians will provide you with multiple options and upfront guaranteed pricing.

If we miss something and fail to communicate it to you prior to signing our service agreement, we will correct the issue at no additional cost to you. We will always try to provide you with a range of options to meet your needs.

All services conducted include a one-year, risk free guarantee, including a full warranty: parts and labor for one year.

If you’re not happy at any point let us know, we will work with you until you are.

David Naples

General Manager

David and Andrea Naples founded Expert Wire in 2003, when they noticed a need for electrical safety and education in the residential service industry. David is a Master Electrician in Delaware and Maryland. He is dedicated to providing a nurturing and growth minded workplace for the staff. Following the Christmas season of 1987, David's family lost their home to an electrical fire. He was five years old at the time, however the loss had a lasting impact on him. Our passion at Expert Wire, for serving our clients and providing electrical safety, sparked from that event.

Andrea Naples

Human Resources Manager

Andrea is a founding member of Expert Wire Inc. She loves assisting everyone, from our staff to our clients. Andrea prides herself on the employee’s experience being positive and fulfilling. She is passionate and works hard to ensure that all Expert Wire's team members are well taken care of.

Bill Gibbons

Administrator

Bill has been in the electrical industry since 1980 and received his electrician license in 1985. He was an electrical maintenance supervisor and manager during his thirty year career with the State of Delaware. Bill brings dedication to his work and passion for helping others to his position as operations manager. He enjoys the shared respect among co-workers and family oriented culture at Expert Wire. Bill wants his clients to experience "A feeling of satisfaction with quality of work and to feel safe knowing [our] work is performed as if it was my family..."

Michael Blumenthal

Service Manager

Mike has been in the service industry since 1990 and has managed teams of up to 350 people. He is an excellent communicator and problem solver. Mike has certifications in HVAC, CDL, and Nexstar. He enjoys the relationships and family-feel within the Expert Wire staff. The ongoing, regular training provided by Expert Wire also stands out as huge perk. Mike wants his clients to experience complete satisfaction and trust. He is passionate about personal and professional growth, both for self and teammates.

Fun Fact: Mike sees himself as "a child at heart".

Casie Richardson

CSR

Casie began working at Expert Wire in 2011. Her responsibilities include providing a smooth scheduling process and following up to make sure that you are completely satisfied with our services. She enjoys communicating with clients, scheduling appointments and keeping a tidy office. She says "talking to clients is the best part of my day". Her favorite part about working at Expert Wire is the company culture that each "voice is heard and allows for growth as an employee". She hopes that by the end of each phone call with her, the client feels that all their needs are being met.

Morgan Morsillo

Morgan has been in the electrical industry since 2013. He graduated from Sussex Technical Trade School's electrical apprenticeship program in 2018, but plans on continuing his education and earning more certifications. Morgan has always enjoyed taking small electrical devices apart and learning to reconstruct them when he was young; the electrical field allows him to do this in a larger scale. Morgan's goal is to let our clients "feel well informed of all details of the job and know wholeheartedly that the job was completed the right way and in a timely manner with great service." Morgan says he enjoys “the shared level of dedication among the employees and the professionalism of the entire company [at Expert Wire]”.

Dan Nedwick

Dan is a master electrician in Delaware and Maryland, beginning his electrical career in 2003. He is passionate about boating and the beaches. Dan enjoys working with the professional team at Expert Wire and helping people solve their electrical needs and wants. His goal is to provide an informative and productive experience with end result being a happy customer.

Fun Fact: Dan enjoys doing puzzles and problem solving.

Matthew Wothers

Matthew has been in the industry since 2007 and became a Journeyman Electrician in 2017. He specializes in home technologies (including TVs, sound systems, and camera installations). Matt entered the world of the electrical trade by chance, always wanting to amuse himself with wires and discover how things worked. He enjoys “the company mindset of always pushing to find the best and safest ways to fulfill our clients needs”. Matt takes every house as a learning experience to learn something new in the electrical trade. Matthew wants his client's dreams to become reality when it comes to what they’ve pictured their home to look like.

DéShawn Cannon

DéShawn began his electrical career in 1999. He holds a Journeyman Electrician license. Deigh enjoys the work atmosphere, teamwork and training at Expert Wire. He seeks to provide total satisfaction to his customers and takes pride in being timely with his assignments. DeShawn aims to form a friendship like bond with each customer, "I want the customer to feel like they're in good hands." he says.

Fun Fact: DéShawn has enjoyed creating poetry since the 4th grade!

Matt Evans

Matthew is a licensed journeyman electrician and has been in the industry since 2006. He specializes in troubleshooting and home technologies (including TVs, home theater and generators). He is inspired to succeed to provide a great and wonderful world for his children and family. Matt says he enjoys working at Expert Wire because of "the morale of all the employees and management. This company is like another family."

Blayne Gates

Blayne graduated from Sussex Technical Adult Education trade school program for electrician and holds a professional Master Electrician license. He is passionate about continued education in the electrical trade. In his spare time, he is an avid bass fisherman. Blayne says "I enjoy the family atmosphere at Expert Wire, all of the techs are professional and experienced". He wants his customer's experience to be a positive and educational experience.

Shane Brower

Shane began his electrical career in 2013. Watching his grandfather work as an electrician intrigued Shane from a young age. He completed the Journeyman Electrician certification at Sussex Tech Adult Education. Shane enjoys the caring and family like atmosphere at Expert Wire. Shane says "My two daughters inspire me to be the best man I could possibly be."
He seeks to provide five star service on each call and aims to form a friendship like bond with each customer. "I want the customer to feel at ease" he says.

Fun Fact: Other than becoming an electrician, Shane's second childhood career choice was to become an astronaut.

Chris Heiser

Chris began his electrical career in 2013. His interest in the trade was sparked as a young child watching his uncle, an experienced electrician, re-wire his parents house. "Everybody [at Expert Wire] works as a team", says Chris, when asked what he enjoys most about his work. "I always want the customer to feel comfortable and confident in my work."

Fun Fact: Chris is an animal lover and car enthusiast.

Daniel Elizondo

Daniel began his electrical career in 2018. He enjoys "Working as a team [at Expert Wire]... and learning new things in the industry." Daniel wants his customers to be completely happy with his workmanship on each job.

Fun Fact: Daniel enjoys playing soccer and taking his three dogs for runs at the park.
