As our Electrical Install Manager, you'll be a key member of our installation leadership team, partnering with and reporting to the Service Manager to ensure every installation is fully prepared for success. Working primarily from the office, you'll coordinate the people, materials, systems, and processes that keep our installation department operating at a high level while regularly supporting our electricians in the field through quality assurance, technical coaching, and continuous improvement.

Your leadership creates the operational systems that allow our installation team to focus on what they do best—serving customers and delivering exceptional electrical work. - Ensure every installation begins with the right materials.
- Keep technicians productive by eliminating unnecessary trips for parts.
- Maintain organized inventory while controlling costs.
- Coordinate permits and inspections without unnecessary delays.
- Oversee fleet, warehouse, and tool readiness.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Parts Runner.
- Support install electricians with technical guidance and coaching.
- Help deliver organized, professional, five-star customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Lead Operational Coordination: Prepare every installation before work begins by coordinating schedules, materials, inventory, warehouse operations, permits, inspections, and communication between departments. ```
- Manage Materials & Inventory: Oversee warehouse inventory, monitor truck stock, build strong vendor relationships, evaluate purchasing decisions, and maintain efficient inventory systems that balance quality, availability, and cost.
- Coordinate the Parts Runner: Prioritize deliveries, organize routes, communicate changing job needs, and ensure technicians receive the right materials with minimal interruption.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Use your residential electrical experience to review material requests, answer technical questions, identify installation challenges, and support electricians before issues arise.
- Perform Quality Assurance: Visit active job sites regularly to verify installation quality, reinforce Expert Wire standards, identify improvement opportunities, and coach electricians in technical skills and craftsmanship.
- Oversee Fleet & Equipment: Ensure company vehicles, warehouse operations, tools, and equipment remain organized, maintained, and ready for daily operations.
- Coordinate Permits & Inspections: Work closely with local inspectors, utility companies, and permitting agencies to keep projects moving efficiently from planning through completion.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve systems, eliminate inefficiencies, strengthen communication, and create processes that improve department performance. ```
Who You Are
- Extensive experience as a residential electrician.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Highly organized with exceptional planning and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable leading operational systems and coordinating multiple moving parts.
- An excellent communicator with electricians, vendors, inspectors, and office staff.
